Notice of obniz Service Changes / obniz CON Archive / OS7 Beta Release

Thank you for always using obniz.

Today, we are writing to share some important updates regarding changes to our current services, as well as the latest news on our recent events and beta releases.

Important Notice Regarding Service Changes

1. Transition to Partner-Only Access for Specific Features The following features will no longer be publicly available on the Lite and Biz plans after March 31, 2026, at 23:59 (JST). Moving forward, these features will be exclusively available to our Partner Companies:

• Turning your own ESP32 devices into obniz devices via license (obnizID) issuance
• Creation of PluginOS and OTA

If you are currently using these features or are interested in our Partner Program, please reach out to us via our contact form. (Inquiries from individuals are also welcome.)

2. Termination of Legacy Features We are announcing the official termination of Legacy features and similar functions, which had been previously postponed. The following services will be discontinued in approximately one year, on March 31, 2027, at 23:59 (JST):

• Repository
• Serverless Events
• WebApp (Please note: This refers to the display screen separate from the App; Apps themselves will continue to be supported)
• Cloud Execution of Apps (All cloud executions, including interval, event-triggered, and WebHook-triggered)

Accordingly, these items will be removed from our Service Manual: https://docs.obniz.com/ja/support/terms/service

There are numerous ways to substitute these features using other tools. We will contact you separately with detailed information on alternative methods and migration guides soon.

OS7 Beta Now Available

The beta version of OS7 has officially been released. For developers participating in the Beta Tester Program, OS7 Beta will now appear as an option for OTA updates.

本日は、現在ご利用いただいているサービスの一部変更に関する重要なお知らせと、最新のアップデート情報をお届けいたします。

サービス変更に関する重要なお知らせ

1. 一部機能の一般公開停止とパートナー企業様への限定化
以下の機能につきまして、LiteプランおよびBizプランでのご提供を2026年3月31日(火) 23:59をもって終了し、以降は弊社パートナー企業様への限定提供へと変更させていただきます。

• ライセンス（obnizID）発行による、お手持ちのESP32機器のobnizデバイス化
• PluginOSの作成とOTA

パートナー制度について、現在ご利用中またはご利用をご検討中の方は、弊社お問い合わせ窓口よりご連絡ください（個人の方からもお問い合わせいただけます）。

2. Legacy機能の終了について
過去に終了を延期しておりましたLegacy関係および類似機能につきまして、約1年後の2027年3月31日(水) 23:59をもってサービスを終了いたします。

• リポジトリ
• サーバーレスイベント
• WebApp（※アプリとは別の表示画面です。アプリ自体は継続いたします）
• アプリのクラウド実行（一定間隔、イベント起動、WebHook起動などすべてのクラウド実行）

これに伴い、サービス説明書（ https://docs.obniz.com/ja/support/terms/service）の該当項目も削除となります。 なお、上記機能につきましては他のツールを用いて代替する方法が豊富にございます。代替手順等の詳細につきましては、別途改めてご案内予定です。
